The color tends to last between 24-30 months. Because this is a traditional oil sealer/stain all-in-one product, the oil dives deep into the wood and prevents the drying often associated with water-borne formulas. It does not form a film, so it never has to be stripped in the future.

In our years of deck cleaning and sealing, we also learned early on that no one sealer is right for every situation. For one thing, how can you apply a sealer to a brand-new pressure-treated deck? It is too wet for applying most oils. In fact, there are lots of decks that never seem to fully dry. Sealing wet wood has always been a challenge for our industry.
